My mothers favourite halwa. Many people seem to like it a lot. I see it being served in most of the functions. So all those who are wondering how they make it here is a chance to try it and make a tasty halwa at home.
Wash the carrot peel it and grate it. Boil it with milk in a cooker for 2 to three whistles.
Then take a pan add ghee and fry the cashew nuts and keep aside in the same pan add the carrot from the cooker and sugar and keep frying when it gets close add cashews and cardamom powder and switch off.
Carrot halwa tastes best when hot.
