This powder is made from channa dal and urad dal and curry leaves. It is good with dosa idli rice etc. It can also be used to flavour some fries like bottle gourd, ridge gourd etc.
First wash curry leaves, dry chilies, urad and chana dal and take a pan add oil and fry them to this add tamarind and fry till it softens and remove and keep aside.
Now fry cumin seeds and then cool and add all the ingredients along with salt and garlic and grind to a smooth powder and store in a air tight bottle.
