I have not tried it yet. I will be trying it very soon. Must be good my mother never enters anything not tasty.
First take semiya and soak it in buttermilk for one hour.
After one hour smash the semiya and make it smooth now add flour and onion and chili pieces and also add salt and mix well.
The consistency of the batter should be loose and runny.
Take a pan apply oil and when heated take big laddle full of batter and pour it from out side forming a round dosa. you need practice, Leave oil around the dosa and when fried turn it and fry it on the other side also. Serve hot with chutney.
Quite nutritious and tasty too. It is one of my mother's favourites. It makes a good change from the regular idlies can try on one of your free Sundays.
Mouth melting dosas easy to make and will be loved by all good with sambar, chutney and mutton or chicken curry also good with veg korma for vegetarians.
Must try very tasty and spicy.
Wash the rice and add 5 glasses water and cook the rice and keep aside.
Take cooker and add oil and add onion pieces and ginger garlic paste and fry till brown.
Now add the chicken pieces and let the water evaporate and then add the rest of the ingredients and pour 1/4 glass water and cook for 5 minutes after the whistle.
Then take a pan add chicken pieces and add rice and mix well like for fried rice, garnish and serve hot.
Very tasty dish my favourite it tastes delicious with chapathi or pulkas. It is high in fiber and proteins so it is a must at least twice a week especially for vegetarians. High in iron and potassium.
It is my mother's fried rice recipe will not taste like the Chinese one but as good. It is a mix of Indian and Chinese.
First wash the basmati rice and soak in little less than two glasses of water for half an hour. Then cook it till all the water evaporates and the rice is well cooked but grainy.
Cut the carrots and beans length wise ( one inch in length, very fine ).
Now take a pan and scramble the three eggs add a little salt and pepper and keep aside.
Now in the same pan add three table spoons oil and onion pieces and fry till translucent, then add ginger garlic paste and fry then add beans and carrot and let cook till they get tender.
Then add chili sauce or tomato sauce and soya sauce and fry add the rice and scrambled egg and china salt and simple salt as much needed and fry stirring continuously.
To the end add cinnamon powder and mix well and serve hot. If you like it spicy add a little pepper or chili powder.
This dish can also be tried with mutton in fact mutton tastes better with fenugreek leaves. rich in calcium, iron, fiber and B complex.
