Coconut Chutney ( Kobera Chutney )

Very tasty chutney goes with anything. I eat this chutney with jona rottas it tastes yum. It is also good with chapatis or rotis.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Coconut Pieces fresh
  • 10 Green Chilies
  • 1 Onion
  • 5 Curry Leaves
  • 1 tsp Cumin. mustard, urad and channa dal for tempering
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. First cut the green chilies and onions into pieces and fry them and keep aside.

  2. Then cut the coconut into small pieces ass salt and take in a grinder and grind it to a chutney smoothness.

  3. It should not be too smooth then the chutney will taste like paste.

  4. Now add chilies and onions and grind well not too smooth.

  5. Then take a pan add 2 tsp oil and add tempering and curry leaves, when they start to splutter switch off and add to the chutney and mix well.

  6. You can also add 1 tsp of finely chopped coriander leaves. You can also add it with green chilies and grind it. I like it both ways. Serve with idli, dosa,, apam upma it is good with anything
