Veg Manchuria

Time consuming but worth it. My mother used to make it even for parties, When I tried it i realized how much patience she had and her love for cooking. Definitely try it for it tastes nearly the same as the restaurant one.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Beans finely chopped
  • 1 cup Carrot ( grated )
  • 1 cup Cabbage finely chopped
  • 10 Green Chilies finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup Ginger ( finely chopped pieces )
  • 1/4 cup Garlic Pieces ( finely chopped )
  • 11/2 tsp Ajinamoto
  • 1 tsp Pepper Powder
  • 5 tbsp Cornflour for vegetable balls
  • 1 tbsp Cornflour for curry
  • 1/4 cup Soya Sauce
  • 11/2 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. First clean all the vegetables and cut them and take them in a bowl and add salt as needed and add cornflour, pepper powder, half of the chopped green chilies and mix well and make them into balls and deep fry.

  2. Then take a pan and add oil and garlic and ginger pieces and the left chili pieces and fry till a nice aroma comes, now add the vegetable balls. To this add 1/4 cup soya sauce and the 1 tbsp cornflour ( mixed in water ) and cook till the corn flour and soya sauce are taken in by the vegetable balls. 

  3. Serve hot.
