Senagapapu Vadalu ( Channa dal Vada )
Very tasty as snacks and can also be served for breakfast. Very famous in Andhra. People usually make these vadas during festivals. They make a good combination with lemon rice or tamarind rice.

Ingredients
- 11/2 cup Channa dal senagapapu
- 1/2 inch Ginger
- 2 pinches clove and cinnamon powder
- 1/2 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1 Onion finely chopped
- 3 Green Chilies finely chopped
- 6 Curry Leaves
- 2 tsp Chopped coriander leaves
- 3/4 tsp Salt
Instructions

Soak the channa dal in water for 3 hours and grind it ( not too smooth ).

To this paste add chopped onions, chilies, curry leaves, coriander powder and leaves, salt and clove and cinnamon powder and mix well.

Take a pan add oil enough for the vadas to get submerged. Let the oil heat up now make vadas with the channa paste and put in the oil and fry till deep brown and remove from the oil and serve hot with chutney.

They taste good even without the chutney. Good as a kitty party snack.
