Sambar Powder Vasundhara's (Andhra Style)
This is my athama's sambar powder one of the best sambars that i have ever eaten. My children love it too. They always ask me why the other sambars don't taste as good as this. Try it and enjoy it. You can grind this powder and store in the fridge for 4 to 5 months.

Ingredients
- 1 kg Red Chilies Dry
- 1/2 kg Coriander Seeds
- 1/4 kg Cumin Seeds
- 50 gms Fenugreek Seeds
- 6 tbsp Turmeric
- 6 tbsp Salt
- 3 Garlic Pods big
Instructions

First dry fry all the ingredients till a good aroma comes see that they do not burn. Do it on a low flame. First fry the chilies and then the seeds.

Take out the skin from the garlic cloves and smash them well.

Now take a grinder add all the ingredients garlic, salt and turmeric too and grind to smooth powder.

Store in a air tight container and refrigerate. If you are making sambar with 1/2 cup dal then use 2 to 3 tbsp sambar powder.
