Ingredients

  • 2 glasses Rice Powder
  • 1 glass Fried Channa Dal Powder
  • 2 tsp Sesame seeds white
  • 4 tbsp Chili Powder
  • 2 tbsp Salt
  • 1/2 glass Groundnuts
  • 2 tbsp Butter

Instructions

  1. First break the ground nuts into small pieces in the mortar.

  2. Take a big plate and take the rice flour and channa dal powder, add chili powder, salt sesame seeds and ground nut pieces and butter and mix all the ingredients adding water little at a time.

  3. Make into a soft batter like how you mix for chapatis.  Then take a big kadai and fill half of it with oil and when the oil gets heated drop the papu bilas and fry them.

  4. To make the bilas, make small balls from the batter and take a plastic paper apply oil to it and place the ball on the paper and press into a round puri with your fingers and then leave it in the oil and fry it till golden brown.
