Very tasty chutney has a unique taste. Goes well with pongal, dosas and idlies. It is a speciality of the Nellore people.

Ingredients
- 10 Green Chili
- 1 Onion
- 1 Tennis ball sized Tamarind
- 1/2 tsp Salt

First clean and soak the tamarind in water for half an hour the smash the tamarind with hand thoroughly and filter the tamarind water and keep aside.

Cut the Onions into pieces. Then take a pan add 1/2 tsp oil and fry the chilies for 2 minutes now add tamarind water and cook till it thickens and then switch off and leave to cool.

After it cools add salt and onions and grind. Grind till they blend well it should not be paste like, you should be able to see the onion pieces slightly.
