Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Potato pieces
  • 1/2 cup Carrot Pieces
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 1/2 cup Cauliflower fllorets
  • 1 whole Coconut
  • 1/2 cup corriander seeds lightly fried
  • 2 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 tbsp Curd
  • 8 tsp Oil
  • 3/4 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 11/2 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. First grind the coconut grated and the fried corriander seeds together and keep aside.

  2. Wash peel and cut the carrots and potatoes. Wash and keep the peas and cauliflower florets.

  3. Take a cooker or kadai put oil add two cloves and two cinnamon pieces add the ginger garlic paste fry till slightly brown add masala and fry for 4 minutes till the oil starts surfacing now add potato , carrots and peas and cook for another 5 minutes.

  4. Now add curds and i/2 glass water( if you want it watery add some more water) and the cauliflower and close the cooker lid and cook for 5 minutes after the whistle. 

  5. Cauliflower cooks faster so add it in the end. Garnish with corriander leaves and serve hot.

  6. Goes well with pulav, biryani and kichidis too, Yummy with all the roties and parathas
