Menthi Potato
This dish has the goodness of menthi and potato. Rich in fiber vitamin C,, A and B, Also rich in iron. Very easy to cook and tasty side dish. Good for growing children and pregnant women.
Ingredients
- 5 Potatoes
- 2 Bunches Menthi leaves
- 1 Onion big
- 2 Dry Chilies
- 3/4 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 2 tbsp Tomato Sauce
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- 2 tbsp Curd
- 2 tbsp Oil
Instructions

Wash, peel and cut the potatoes into medium sized pieces. Also wash and cut the menthi leaves into small pieces.

Take a pan add oil and add 1/4 tsp of mustard and cumin and 5 curry leaves then add onion pieces and dry chili flakes and fry till light brown then add ginger garlic paste and then fry for another 2 minutes keep stirring.

Now add tomato sauce, salt chili powder, turmeric and garam masala and fry for some time.

Then add potatoes and close lid and cook till the potatoes are cooked well. Keep stirring in between. Or you can half boil the potatoes separately and keep them ready before hand. this takes less time.

Now add menthi leaves and cook for 4 minutes now add water and curd and cook again and till the oil starts separating switch off and garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
