Liver is very nutritious even though high in cholesterol it a must at least once a month. Growing children need this a lot as it is rich in Vitamin A 359 % of your daily value in 100 gms. It also is high in B12 311% , Iron 99 %, Protein 52 %, Vit C 39 %. B6 31%. Cholesterol 118%. When compared to the nutrition you are getting the cholesterol content is not much. This a very tasty curry your whole family will love it, goes well with rice and dal.
Ingredients
- 1/4 kg Liver
- 1 Onion big
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 3/4 tsp Chili Powder
- 1/2 tsp Coriander seeds
- 1/2 tsp Poppy Seeds
- 2 Cloves
- 2 small pieces Cinnamon
- 2 tbsp Oil
Instructions

Clean the liver pieces. Take a pan add oil add 5 curry leaves, and onion pieces and fry till translucent now add salt chili powder, turmeric and liver pieces and fry with the lid closed.

Mean while fry coriander seeds, poppy seeds, clove and cinnamon and powder them.

Keep stirring in between. if you want you can add some water. The liver should get cooked well.

Once it is cooked add the ground masala powder and fry for another 2 minutes and switch off. If you like you can garnish with coriander leaves.
