Ingredients

  • 1/2 liter Milk
  • 3 tbsp curds ( starter )

Instructions

  1. Boil the milk and let the milk get warm should not burn your fingers when you dip now add about 2 tsp curds and mix thoroughly and close with lid and keep in the oven and let it to set.

  2. Do not move it till it is set.  You can add more curd if it does not set thick and also increase the temperature a bit more when you add the starter.

  3. With few experiments you will be making the best curd at home.

  4. For Indian climate slightly warm and 1 tsp of curd is enough.  Some add only a tiny bit and it sets in very hot climates.  Home made curd is the best.

  5. If the curd is loose then try boiling the milk on low flame and let it boil to become a little thick then let it to warm and then add the starter.  If you do not have a oven then any warm place like inside the cupboard is fine.
