Chepa Pitu Fish Minced Fry

A special variety dish. You boil the fish and mince it into tiny pieces and fry it. Fish is very healthy food with less fat and more proteins also high in anti oxidants and omega fatty acids. You also get good amounts of B12.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg Fish
  • 3 Onions finely chopped
  • 7 Green Chilies finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  • 5 Garlic Cloves crushed
  • 5 tbsp Oil

Instructions

  1. First wash the fish pieces well in salt water then put them in a dish. Now place this dish in a cooker with 1/2 glass water and boil for 5 minutes after the whistle.

  2. After the pressure decreases open the lid and mince the fish pieces into very tiny pieces. Do it with hand if you do it with grinder it will become paste.

  3. Then take a pan add oil temper with mustard seeds 1/4 tsp and 6 curry leaves and when they splutter add onions and green chilies and garlic cloves and fry for 2 minutes.

  4. Then add the minced fish and chili powder, turmeric powder and salt and fry stirring often. 

  5. You should fry till it gets a golden brown colour add coriander leaves and fry for another minute and switch off.

  6. Serve hot with rice or chapatis. So easy to make and very less ingredients needed but so tasty and nutritious too.
