Cauliflower Manchurian

Children do not like to eat vegetables but they will love this cauliflower manchurian.  It is not only presentable but very tasty. The unusual taste of the cauliflower is masked this way. Young bachelors will also love to try this.

Ingredients

  • 15 Medium Sized Cauliflower Florets
  • 1/2 cup Corn Flour
  • 5 tbsp Rice Flour
  • 3/4 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 11/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 Onion finely chopped
  • 3 Green Chilies finely chopped
  • 6 Garlic Flakes finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp Soya Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 3/4 tsp Chili Powder

Instructions

  1. First wash and take the cauliflower florets in a dish submerge them in water add a tsp of salt to this and boil it for sometime. The cauliflower should not get too soft it should be just done.

  2. Then throw away the water and let cool and then add cornflour and rice flour, pepper, salt and ginger garlic paste and mix well and let sit for 10 minutes.

  3. Take a kadai and fill 1/2 of it with oil and when the oil is heated up deep fry the cauliflower florets till nice and golden.

  4. Now take another pan add 3 tbsp oil and add chilies, onion and garlic pieces and fry after they are lightly browned add the sauces and chili powder and coriander powder and fry for 2 minutes now add the fried cauliflower and mix well and fry for another 2 minutes continuously stirring, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
