This is my mom's butter chicken is very tasty it will be liked by all even old people will like it because it has a traditional taste. You can make it with bones or without bones. This dish tastes good even with rice.  So today try something different for your family they will love it.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg Chicken
  • 2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 cup Curds
  • 1 tbsp Chili Powder
  • 3/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tbsp Salt leveled
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 pinches Red Colour optional
  • 5 tbsp Oil
  • 2 Cloves
  • 3 small Cinnamon Pieces
  • 2 Onions medium
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar

Instructions

  1. Clean the Chicken and take it in a bowl and add ginger garlic paste, curds, chili powder, turmeric, salt and colour(optional) mix thoroughly and marinate for one hour.

  2. Then boil it in cooker for 4 minutes (broiler cooks fast) after the whistle. Meanwhile cut the onion into pieces and keep aside.

  3. Now take a pan add clove, cinnamon and onion pieces and fry till golden brown now add vinegar and the chicken from the cooker and fry for sometime. 

  4. If you want the curry to be more wet then you can add a little water when frying. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
