Watery Soup good as a detox. It helps the most in constipation.  It is a good soup to take when you have no appetite, it helps revive your appetite. It also taste good with rice.

Ingredients

  • 1 Onion
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp cumin Seeds
  • 5 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 Big lemon sized Tamarind
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Oil

Instructions

  1. Blend onion, Chili powder, garlic and cumin together in a blender and keep aside.

  2. Make tamarind juice from tamarind and throw away the squeezed out pulp.

  3. Take pan add oil and put 1/4 tsp of channa and urad dal and 6 curry leaves and when they splutter add the blended masala and fry for some time.

  4. when it gives out a nice aroma add the tamarind juice and salt and 1/4 tsp sugar optional.

  5. Add water if needed according to the consistency you desire and let it boil for 5 minutes add finely chopped coriander leaves and switch off and serve hot.

  6. This soup is very famous in south India it is eaten with rice as a second course. It can be taken as soup also. Try it you will love it.
