Nimakaya Charu (Lemon Soup)
Good for constipation. As lemon has abundant of Vitamin C also good as immunity booster. It is good appetite reviver also works to detox the body.
Ingredients
- 1 tsp Pepper Seeds
- 11/2 tsp Coriander Seeds
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 6 Garlic Cloves
- 2 Lemons
- 1 tsp Oil
Instructions

First grind pepper seeds, corriander seeds, cumin and garlic cloves in blender and keep aside.

Take a glass of water and to this add lemon juice( cut both the lemons and squeeze the juice into the water).

Now take a pan add oil and add tempering(cumin, and mustard 1/4 tap each, urad and channa 1/2 tsp each and 4 curry leaves and one dry chili) once it starts spluttering add the lemon water.

Once it starts boiling add the masala and cook for another two minutes and switch off. Garnish with corriander leaves.

Gives out a tasty aroma and it tastes too good with rice. You can also drink it alone. It is good for sore throat, colds, coughs and during fever too.
