Masala Podi Amma's
My mother always keeps this powder stored like sambar powder and uses it in all types of dishes like fries, kurmas, soups, of veg and non-veg varieties. I once found it in her shelf and used it and was amazed at the mouth watering taste it gave the fry. From then i always store it and use it when ever a dish seems tasteless i add a spoon of this and this seems to do the trick the dish tastes better. Try it and see.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Senagapapu ( Channa Dal )
- 1/2 cup Sesame Seeds
- 1/4 cup Minappu Urad Dal
- 1/2 tsp Pepper Pods
- 1/2 tsp Cumin
- 1 tbsp Desiccated Dry Coconut
- 10 Garlic Cloves With Skin

Fry all the above except garlic and coconut and grind into a smooth powder add coconut and garlic when grinding. Very easy isn't it just store it in a air tight jar and use it when needed, Will stay fresh for more than a month if kept in fridge.
