Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg Chicken
  • 150 gms Butter

For marinate paste

  • 8 Garlic Cloves
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 1 cup Curd
  • 1/2 tsp Chili Powder
  • 2 Green Chilies
  • 2 tsp Salt

Ingredients for masala

  • 3 Onions Chopped
  • 8 cloves Garlic
  • 1 stick Cinnamon
  • 6 Green Chilies
  • 2 tbsp Desiccated Coconut
  • 1 tsp Jeera Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • 2 Cloves
  • 1/2 tsp Nutmeg Powder
  • 2 tsp Almond Powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder

Instructions

  1. Wash the chicken and squeeze out the excess water. Grind all the ingredients of the marinate paste and apply to the chicken also add curds and mix well and marinate for three hours.

  2. Heat 500 gms butter and fry the onions and add the rest of the ingredients of the masala paste and grind to smooth paste.

  3. Now take a pan add oil and add the marinated chicken and fry for 5 minutes then add the masala and fry till brown then add half a glass water and cook till the chicken is tender.

  4. Fry till the oil starts to surface then garnish with coriander leaves and switch off.
