Sweet Corn Chicken Soup
This recipe was in my mom's cook book so I don't know from where she got it, I have never tried it but I am putting it on the net, I am sure many like chinese dishes and they would like to try it. I remember very vaguely that my mom had tried it a long time back when i was in school, it was nearly like the soup we get in restaurants. So go ahead and try it.
Ingredients
- 250 gms Chicken
- 6 tsp Cornflour leveled
- 11/2 cups Sweet Corn Kernels
- 1 tsp China salt
- 1/2 tsp White Pepper
- 3 Egg Whites
- 1/2 tsp Salt
Instructions

First wash the chicken pieces and take them in the cooker Pour Glass of water add salt and cook for 5 minutes after Whistle. Then remove the lid after the pressure decreases.

Take the chicken stock in a separate bowl. Take the chicken pieces and fry them in oil for 3 minutes then shred them into small pieces the bones are not needed.

Add the chicken pieces, sweet corn, pepper and china salt to the chicken stock and cook for 2 minutes. Now mix the corn flour in water and add this to the soup and cook for another 3 minutes.

To the end add the beaten egg whites and stir for a minute switch off and serve hot. Looks easy doesn't it. I am also going to try it.
